Do you have experience as a sheet metal worker, looking to accelerate your career or a draughts person with a sheet metal background, looking to work for a market-leading and well-established Structural Steelwork specialist, where you will play a pivotal part in the business’s ongoing success?

Are you looking for a highly autonomous role where you will play a crucial part in bridging the gap between production and design, whilst ensuring your work/life balance is nothing but a priority?

On offer is the opportunity to work for an innovative steel fabricator based in Peterborough, which provides high-quality structural steelwork and bespoke fabrications working for blue chip contractors on structural steelwork projects nationwide. You will work closely with the senior draughtsperson and use AutoCAD to create detailed 2D drawings and models of steel structures.

Your Sheetmetal work experience will go hand in hand with Drafting detailed and accurate project specifications.

Role:

• Using CAD software to create detailed 2D drawings and models of steel structures, components
• Generating bills of materials and parts lists to facilitate procurement and production processes and assemblies. This includes creating plans, elevations, sections, and details
• Assist in creating a wide range of structures and components
