Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer from a Special Purpose Machinery background looking for a senior technical management position, where you will be recognised as the go-to technical expert in your field, designing bespoke machinery for blue-chip clients across the globe whilst heading up a team of Design Engineers?

This company specialise in designing and manufacturing bespoke packaging equipment for the Medical industry and are known for their on-going investment in their staff, levels of service and quality of work.

In this exciting and challenging Management role, you will liaise closely with the Engineering Lead to ensure the bespoke designs are completed from conception through to completion, finding solutions to complex design problems and providing relevant teams with drawings and schematics, whilst commanding the success of a team of 6 Engineers.

This is an opportunity to work with a bespoke and highly regarded company who supply for various blue-chip clients in a role that offers multiple progression paths, a quarterly bonus and Monday-Friday hours.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer from a Special Purpose Machinery background who has Leadership experience, is looking for an autonomous role where you will be recognised as the go-to expert and be responsible for the success of a small team of Design Engineers, with a clear scope to progress further within the business.

The Role:

• Overseeing a team of specialists within design engineering
• Working closely with the Lead Engineer
• Seeing projects through from concept to completion

The Person:

• Mechanical design background
• Previously led a team
• Some knowledge Special Purpose Machinery
