Are you a Design Engineer from an Automotive background who has experience with interiors, who is looking to head up a team of engineers, leading design and innovation within a globally established company?

On offer is the perfect opportunity to join an internationally renowned manufacturing company, where you will become the go to Design Lead, having creative autonomy, as well as the responsibility that a senior role brings, with the ability to drive change and improvement where required.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers on a multitude of projects and as the go-to contact for blue chip clients, you will strive to provide a great service and improve the process where possible. You will also be expected to be the point of contact for customers, providing technical support, as well as using CATIA to support on design / assemblies for surfacing and solid modelling techniques.

This company is a market leader in the manufacturing industry, working with blue-chip clients around the world on a variety of projects. Off the back of another profitable year, they are looking to continue to drive development and change with the addition of a Lead Design Engineer.

This role would suit a Design Engineer from a Automotive design background that has experience working Interior design with prepeople management skills who is looking to step up into a senior role where you can leave your mark on a globally established company.

The Role:

• Lead a team of Engineer on various projects
• Development of junior staff
• Provide technical support for clients
• Create Initial Concept Schemes

The Person:

• Design Engineer with automotive trim or interiors
• CATIA experience
• Management experience
