Are you a Design Engineer or similar with a background in Manufacturing or similar looking to take the next step into a growing business who design and manufactures bespoke heavy machinery for clients internationally, that will provide in house tailored training and career progression into management?

This is an opportunity to work with an established company with over 40 years’ experience in the design and manufacturing of bespoke heavy machinery. They have recently taken on new contracts for international clients and are looking for a Design Engineer to help the company grow and keep up with demand.

In this role you will be managing large projects from initial concept design to completion, liaising with clients to understand their needs and using CAD software to design or modify existing designs to meet those needs. You will also be responsible for looking into design factors such as operational efficiency, material use and cost.

This role would suit a Design Engineer or similar with a background in Manufacturing or similar looking to step up into a leadership role within a business taking on new contracts and looking to grow, who wants to receive tailed training and progress their career into management.

The Role

• Management of projects from conception to completion
• Use of CAD software to design bespoke machinery
• Overseeing internal processes such as bill of materials
• Monday to Friday – Early finish Friday

The Person

• Design Engineer or similar
• Manufacturing background or similar
• Commutable to Litchfield
