Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer who has specialised in designing machinery, conveyors, moving parts or similar, looking to be recognised as the go-to expert within a renowned business known for their highly specialised machinery that they design and manufacture?

You will assist in the creation of a design specification from client requirements, aid in the prototyping of concepts, creation of drawings in SolidWorks and provide engineering solutions for any complex problems that may arise within the design process.

This company specialise in the design of bespoke machinery for the medical sector, working from concept to completion. You will be working with blue-chip clients with the opportunity to progress into a senior design position or even Design Manager. Off the back of recent success, they are looking to add to the design team, to help facilitate growth, and drive the company to new heights.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience designing special-purpose machinery, conveyors, moving parts or similar that is looking to progress within an exciting company where no two days are the same.

The Role:

• Assisting with the design process from concept to commission using SolidWorks
• Aiding in the prototyping and testing of products
• Finalising detailed drawings of machinery
• Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

The Person:

• Special Purpose Machinery, Conveyors or Moving parts design background
• SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD proficiency
