Are you a Continuous Improvement Engineer from a Welding or Fabrication background looking for a varied role, with training, development, and the opportunity to make your mark on an award winning, innovative and leader in specialist construction systems?

You will be the go-to Engineer, looking at ways to increase efficiencies, reduce waste and improve processes across production, quality, manufacturing etc. With a background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar.

You will play an integral role in a company that take pride in constant investment in people and products which means you will work in an energetic and busy specialist project led production team in an open plan office with a strong culture for continuous learning.

Having worked through the pandemic, they have continued to develop as a business and are now looking to fill this position as an exciting new post within their manufacturing team.

This would suit an Engineer with a strong mechanical grounding, who has experience with Continuous Improvement.

The role:

* To identify, evaluate, justify, implement, and demonstrate improvements to product and manufacturing methods, in line with company strategy.
* To interpret and analyse production data, draw summaries and produce reports to assist operational decisions, assess costings, identify resource allocation and demonstrate overall business performance.
* Provide technical support to manufacturing operations.

The person:

* Continuous Improvements Engineer
* Background in Lean manufacturing/ six sigma techniques. (E.G. 5S, SMED, Bottleneck analysis, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, Root cause analysis, Value stream mapping, TPM)
* Knowledge or experience of (Welding or Tooling or Fabrication)

CI, Continuous Impovement, manufacturing, technical, engineer, Welding, Tooling, Fabrication, CAD, SMED, Bottleneck analysis, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, Root cause analysis, Value stream mapping, TPM.
