Are you a Commercial Analyst or similar with experience of building models of the commercial viability of engineering hardware products, looking for a role where you will become pivotal of the mass production of ‘milestone’ pre-revenue product aiming to innovate the valve / flow control industry, where your development will be prioritised and as such there will be an opportunity to lead their supply chain department?

In this role, you will spearhead the company’s commercialization strategy for their valve technology, driving innovation and guiding initiatives to enter the market successfully. Your responsibilities include evaluating manufacturing options, building cost forecasts for various production scenarios, assessing suppliers, validating models with potential partners, and analyzing the feasibility of licensing or joint ventures to optimize commercialization routes.

This company is evolving a product looking to revolutionise the flow control / valve industry. Currently, in its pre-revenue stage – its product aims to relieve hundreds of millions of pounds worth of greenhouse emissions. Going from strength to strength, the company aims to double their headcount over the next year and has recently won government contracts and a huge R&D contract.

This role would suit a Commercial Analyst with experience of building models of the commercial viability of engineering hardware products, looking for a role where your development will be prioritized, leading the commercialization of a ‘revolutionary’ product.


* Commercial Analyst / Consultant – experience building financial models
* Experience in modelling the commercial viability of hardware products
* Based near Bristol


* Lead commercialization efforts by evaluating manufacturing options, building cost forecasts, and assessing suppliers for scalability in producing valve prototypes to large-scale production.
* Validate models and engage potential partners to explore licensing or joint ventures, determining the most viable route for technology commercialization.
* Forecast business investment needs across different scenarios, contributing pivotal insights to drive strategic decisions and optimize market entry strategies for their technology.
