You will be a CNC Setter Operator and your role involves the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines. Your expertise in machine setup, and precision machining will ensure the production of high-quality parts that meet strict industry standards and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Experience in setting up CNC machines, including installing workpieces, fixtures, cutting tools.
• Ability to set Work Shifts including 4th Axis and Trunions
• Ability to select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures for the machining process
• CNC Setter/Operators must have a keen eye for detail and the ability to monitor the machining process closely, making adjustments to tooling or machine settings as necessary to maintain precision and quality
• In-depth knowledge and experience in operating CNC machines, specifically Heidenhain & Fanuc Controls

The person:

• CNC setting and operating experience
• Knowledge of Engineering drawings
