You will be a CNC Setter Operator and your role involves the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines. Your expertise in machine setup, and precision machining will ensure the production of high-quality parts that meet strict industry standards and specifications.
Experience in setting up CNC machines, including installing workpieces, fixtures, cutting tools.
Ability to set Work Shifts including 4th Axis and Trunions
Ability to select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures for the machining process
CNC Setter/Operators must have a keen eye for detail and the ability to monitor the machining process closely, making adjustments to tooling or machine settings as necessary to maintain precision and quality
In-depth knowledge and experience in operating CNC machines, specifically Heidenhain & Fanuc Controls
CNC setting and operating experience
Knowledge of Engineering drawings
