In this role your responsibilities will include providing machine tool programmes, tool lists and fixtures as required by the manufacturing schedule, as well as producing accurate Methods of Manufacture for machined components. You will also provide engineering support within the business and to help ensure its products can be produced to meet the requirements of safety, quality, cost and delivery and continuously improve the service of the Production Engineering department.

This role would suit a CNC programmer or similar looking for a stable, days-based position and the opportunity to step up into a more overall production supervisor role, in a company that is renowned for looking after their employees, with progression available and an early finish on a Friday.

The Role:
* Provide support and expertise in CNC machining methods, tooling and work holding
* Improve production process efficiencies with particular emphasis on the reduction of waste activities
* Play a pivotal role in the development of manufacturing processes and procedures
* Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm (Friday finish at 12.30)

The Person:
* CNC programmer or similar, from a manufacturing background
* Looking for a stable and long-term position in an excellent company
* Commutable to Peterborough
