Are you a Milling or Turning CNC machinist or similar with a background in metal work, looking to join a market-leading company that offer you an opportunity to work on wide-ranging equipment within a tight-knit team of machinists and the ability to significantly boost your earnings with overtime with an early finish on a Friday?

On offer is an opportunity to work for a well-established engineering company founded in 1860 who operate internationally with offices in Germany, USA , China, Japan and India. They supply compress rotor screws into a range of commercial industries including marine and aviation with the majority of customers in commercial refrigeration and HVAC.

In this role you will be responsible for setting and programme your own machine and the inspect your own work and correct any deviations, whilst producing high quality work in an efficient and accurate manner. The company use FANUC operating systems and you will need to be able to read and understand technical drawings that you will receive from the manufacturing engineers.

This role would suit a CNC Machinist with a background in metalwork looking to join a great company, who offer the opportunity to work on wide-ranging equipment, within a tight-knit team of Operators, give you the ability to boost your earnings with additional overtime and an early finish on a Friday.

The Role:
* Setting and operating CNC machines (Doorsan LY, VMC / MMC)
* Inspect and quality check work produced
* Rotating weekly shift pattern as described below
* Week 1 05:45 – 14:10 Monday to Thursday , Fridays 05:45 – 11:45
* Week 2 14:10 – 22:15 Monday to Thursday , Fridays 11:45 – 19:25

The Person:
* CNC Machinist or similar
* Background in Metalwork
* Happy to do rotating shifts including lates
* Commutable to Rochdale
