On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established company, which specialises in the qualification, validation and testing of medical devices. The group is globally renowned for the excellent services they provide, and have an ISO 18562 accredited test laboratory. They are currently looking to expand their team by 10 over the next year, meaning this is an exciting time to join the highly successful and multi-faceted company. Within this role, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a highly skilled team of analytical chemists according to ISO standards, whilst assisting with the testing of medical devices and packaging according to protocols agreed with clients or Standard Work Instructions. You will also have the freedom to run your own talks and conferences, in the UK and Germany on your areas of expertise.
The role:
- Lead, mentor and train a team of analytical chemists during a period of rapid growth
- Create test protocols, results analysis and risk analysis
- Comply with principles of GMP
- Chromatography – GCMP, HPLC, HPLC MD
- Process and interpret analytical results
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical equipment
The person:
- Experience with chemical analytical techniques
- Experience with extractables and leachables, or medical device testing
- Any supervisory experience
