Are you a Chemical Engineer from a Process / Manufacturing background looking for a fully autonomous and technical hands on role where you will both oversee processes and lead production and continuous improvement projects across a fast paced and highly automated production site in a role offering a bonus to increase your earnings?
This company are a market-leading pioneer within their industry with a global presence and thousands of employees worldwide. Due to an ever-increasing workload they are looking to grow their team at their Stoke site.
In this varied role you will have the autonomy to oversee processes as the ‘go to engineer’ on site. You will play an instrumental role in day-to-day problem solving and lean manufacturing processes in addition to continuous improvement projects and liaising with the senior leadership team.
This role would suit a Chemical Engineer from a Process / Manufacturing background looking for a varied role where you will work with a chemical line to gather, analyse, interpret and take action on data. This will be to ensure optimal running of the process helping meet KPIs and delivering continuous improvements.
The Role:
* Develop and optimise production processes
* Achieve production KPI’s in line with budgeted process parameters
* Work to internal and Industry ‘Best Practice’ for continuous improvement projects
* Push Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing processes
* Look at existing processes and update them
* Project work
* Report to Continuous Improvement Manager
The Person:
* Chemical Engineer – Engineering Degree / Qualification
* Process / Manufacturing / Six Sigma background
* Commutable to Stoke-on-Trent
