Are you a Draughtsperson or Mechanical Engineer with design experience working with Steel, looking for an exciting new role in a expanding company where you will be given tailored training on Tekla and the opportunity to progress your career to be recognised as a technical expert?

In this role you will be creating detailed structural designs of various steelwork for the heavy industries including conveyor systems, control / operator cabins and bespoke machinery. The role will also include occasional site surveying across the UK with all expenses paid.

This company design, manufacture and install a range of machinery used within the heavy industries across the UK. Established 35 years ago, they are constantly growing their team to become the go-to technical experts in their profitable niche of engineering.

This role would suit a Draughtsperson, Mechanical Engineer or similar from a machinery, structural steel or heavy industries background, looking for an exciting new role offering tailored training on Tekla and Advanced Steel programmes with the opportunity for lateral progression down the road.

The Role:

• Training on Telka and Advanced Steel
• Producing drawings of various steel work
• Occasional site surveying
• Monday to Friday, 37.5-hour week based on-site

The Person

• 3D CAD Draughtsperson, Mechanical Engineer or similar
• Steel design/draughting experience
• Machinery, Material Handling, Heavy Industries or similar background
