Are you a CAD Technician or similar looking for a varied role where you won’t just be sitting at a desk all day drawing, but getting involved in a variety of project management work with excellent opportunities to progress into a management position?

On offer is the opportunity to join an innovative steel works company based in the southeast, where you will be designing steel structures for blue chip companies. They currently have 50 employees and are looking to expand their team due to increased workload; the working environment has a family feel and they are well known for looking after their staff.

Your position will include designing and detailing using advanced steel, which they will train you on. The role also has some project management aspects where you will be liaising with structural engineers and architects and conducting occasional site visits.

This role would suit a CAD Engineer with Advanced Steel/Tekla/AutoDesk Inventor skills looking for a role where you will be able to progress into a management position.

The Role:
* Steel structure detailing and fabrication designs
* Liaising with other departments
* 8:00 – 17:00 (Monday to Friday)

The Person:
* AutoDesk Inventor/Advanced Steel/Tekla
* 3D Modelling Experience
* Looking to Progress
