Brantham – commutable from Ipswich, Colchester, Bury St Edmunds
Are you a Design Engineer with experience working with 2D CAD, 3D CAD , looking to looking to step up into a managerial role, within a market-leading structural engineering company, working across a range of industries?

Within this position, you will oversee and create drawings for each project in a timely fashion to have them available for the start of each job, manage a growing team of engineers, and coordinate all activities of the CAD department. While also controlling and issuing drawings as defined by the QMS and prescribed within internal drawing control guidelines.
This role will suit a CAD designer from a Construction background who has experience working with 2D or 3D CAD, looking to progress their career and become an expert in their field through training, on industry advice from project managers.
THE ROLE:
* Oversee all aspects of the CAD department
* Oversee and create technical drawings
* Undertake site visits as required
* Monday – Friday 8:30 am -19:00 pm
THE PERSON:
* CAD Designer from a construction background
* Knowledge of 2-D and 3-D CAD system
* Looking to step up and manage their own team
* Commutable to Brantham
