Are you a Buyer or similar looking to join a market-leading specialist Manufacturer who are renowned for their ongoing training opportunities providing a platform to progress throughout the business in a varied role which you will have the autonomy to make your own?

This market-leading specialist manufacturer have witnessed continual growth since their establishment whilst retaining a loyal client base ranging from blue-chip clients to tight-knit Engineering consultancies. Due to ongoing growth they are looking to grow their team across the board.

In this dynamic role you will work within the tight knit purchasing team as you undertake varied responsibilities including coordination of supplier orders, sourcing of parts and materials and monitoring inventory levels. In addition to this it will be your responsibility to liaise with the Senior Leadership Team, other departments and to build and further relationships with Suppliers and Clients.

This role would suit a Buyer or Purchasing Engineer looking for a varied role within a market leading company who work with clients globally and offer the opportunity to increase your earnings through a bonus.

The Role:
* Procurement and purchasing for parts and consumables
* Negotiation of prices with suppliers
* Maintain and monitor inventory levels
* Liaise with senior leadership and other departments
* Build and further relationships with clients, suppliers and key stakeholders
* Source new suppliers and ensure receiving best price
* Write reports on Supplier Performance
* Ongoing opportunities for training and progression

The Person:
* Buyer / Purchasing Engineer
* Engineering or similar background
* Commutable to Plymouth
