Are you a Buyer looking for an exciting role procuring specialist, low volume parts for a bespoke machinery manufacturer, in a role offering training on interpreting Engineering schematics, technical progression and a great benefits package?

This is role you will be sourcing, negotiating and buying niche, low volume parts and materials for use in the manufacture of this companies machinery. This will involve negotiating with new and existing suppliers to cut costs and add value to the business.

With plans to expand significantly this exciting SME are leading the way in the design, manufacture and sale of their special purpose machinery as they look towards a bright future. Coupled with excellent retention and exciting growth plans, this is a great time to get on board and play a key role in this company and their future.

This role would suit a Buyer or Procurement professional who is looking interesting opportunity to break into specialist, low volume engineering Buying in a company moving from strength to strength and offering a tailored training programme.

The Role:

• Identifying, negotiating and securing cost reduction opportunities
• Managing and improving the existing supply chain cost and delivery
• Training to understand and interpret Engineering schematics
• Analyse bill of materials to identify saving opportunities
• Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours with flexitime and half day Fridays

The Person:

• Buyer, Procurement professional or similar
• Low Volume buying experience
