Do you have any business development experience working with steelwork OR have an engineering steelwork background, ready to take the next step in your career with a market-leading and well-established Structural Steelwork specialist, where you will play a pivotal part in the ongoing success of the business?

Are you looking to step off the tools or take the next step of your career in business development, in a managerial role where you will take the lead and identify and target new customers, create proposals and business plans to drive sales, and ultimately accelerate the business’ plans to become UK market leaders, whilst benefitting from a great package and an opportunity for a high level of autonomy?

On offer is the opportunity to work for an innovative steel fabricator based in Peterborough, which provides high-quality structural steelwork and bespoke fabrications. You will be working with highly reputable contractors on structural steelwork projects across Cambridgeshire. You will be the go-to individual responsible for developing contracts with new clients, engineers and architects to generate new enquiries from small to multimillion pound projects.

The Role:

• Collaborate with existing clients to nurture and expand ongoing relationships
• Engage in the identification, communication and establishment of new contracts
• Stay updated with industry trends and market conditions
• Negotiate terms and conditions of contract, including pricing and delivery schedules
• Work closely with the finance director to manage budgets for projects
• Stay updated on advancements in structural steelwork technology and construction methodologies to offer innovative solutions to clients

• Sales / Business development experience working with Steel OR Steelwork Background as Draughtsperson, Sheetmetal worker or Quantity Surveyor
