Are you an Automation Engineer or similar looking for the next step in your career in an office based Project Management position within a truly global company who are focused on delivering a sustainable product and delivering new sites around the UK, they offer the ability to work on a hybrid basis, multiple progression opportunities and the opportunity to boost your earnings with a performance bonus?
On offer is the opportunity to join an international construction supplier who manufacture materials with a big focus on environmental sustainability, they have multiple sites around the UK and ongoing projects include expanding production and opening new facilities in the coming year. They are looking for an Automation expert to assist their installation and planning of a new facility in Bristol.
This varied role will see you based on site, in the office with occasional working from home, you will be responsible for reviewing technical drawings, checking the components and machinery and ensuring the work is compliant with the plans laid out. You will also work alongside the commissioning team to ensure all manufacturing machinery is in working order – the company use Allen Bradley PLC’s and Rockwell Machinery
This role would suit an Automation Engineer or similar who is looking to step into a Project Management position and progress their career within a company dedicated to multiple projects in the coming years, who offer you the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis and improve the future of sustainable building materials.
The Role:
- Assist in the delivery of a new facility in Bristol
- Review drawings and ensure compliance
- Work on commissioning phase of the installation
- Quality check components and machinery
- Work on Rockwell machinery and Allen Bradley PLC
- Hybrid working – Monday to Friday
The Person:
- Automation Engineer or similar
- Looking for more responsibility in Project Management position
- Commutable to Bristol
