Are you a Senior / Principal Structural Engineer with housebuilding experience, seeking a unique opportunity to start as an an Associate Director at an award-winning engineering consultancy firm, where you will lead and oversee the structural department & delivering projects across the globe with values ranging up to £45 million?
This company is a leading civil and structural engineering consultancy specializing in the design and analysis of structures for several large construction projects. They provide comprehensive services, including project management, safety compliance, and environmental considerations, ensuring that architectural concepts are transformed into secure and efficient structures. Their team’s expertise contributes to the creation of innovative, safe, and sustainable infrastructure solutions.
In this role, you will take charge of ensuring the proficiluency of the structural team’s outputs. This will involve contributing as a vital member of the board of directors, actively participating in strategic decision-making processes and offering insights and recommendations for the company’s overall growth and direction. You will also foster effective communication with clients, contractors, and consultants to deliver cost-effective solutions and maintain proactive client relations. Your responsibilities extend beyond the day-to-day management of the structural team, but also incde leadership in meetings, and serving as the company’s representative in onsite and project meetings.
This role would suit an experienced Structural Engineer with a breadth of experience looking to become a leader in a specialist growing Engineering Consultancy as they aim to become a market leader.
THE ROLE:
* Ensure structural team’s proficiency and foster communication with clients, contractors, and consultants for cost-effective solutions.
* Lead and participate in various meetings, both internally with the company’s teams and externally with project stakeholders, such as clients and contractors.
* Actively participating in strategic decision-making processes and offering insights and recommendations for the company’s overall growth and direction
THE PERSON:
* Senior / Principal Structural Engineer – currently doing technical work
* Background in housebuilding, or pre-cast concrete
* Based near Warrington
