Are you from a Trade Counter background and looking to take your first step up to a Managerial role, with great career development, on-the-job training, and a variety of work?

As Assistant Branch Manager you will oversee the branch when the Branch Manager is away, supporting in running a busy and profitable branch, whilst remaining hands on. With a background in Trade Sales, you will be tasked to grow the branch further, increasing profitability and creating a familiar place for local trade professionals.

The company specialise in Building Materials and are part of a highly profitable and successful collection of business, who since the pandemic, have increased production and continued to grow during a difficult time. This role would suit a Branch Assistant from a Building Materials background, who is looking to step up into a Managerial role, with fantastic career development opportunities within a market leading national company.

The Role:

  • Deputising for Branch Manager when he is away
  • Overseeing Sales, H&S and Operations
  • Managing a small team
  • Monday to Friday (8am – 5pm), every other Saturday morning (8am – 12pm) (44hrs)

The Person:

  • Trade counter background or similar
  • Building Materials knowledge
