This role involves inspecting, servicing, and repairing weapons, armor systems, and equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. It also includes manufacturing miscellaneous items and conducting examinations to meet production needs. The post holder is responsible for adherence to technical information, maintaining safety, and performance measured based on HSE policy adherence, productivity, training completion, and quality standards.
THE PERSON
* Armourer / Gun Fitter
* Navy background (preferred)
* Based commutable to Telford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Cannock
THE ROLE
* Inspect, service, and repair weapons, armor systems, and equipment.
* Manufacture miscellaneous items and conduct production-related examinations.
* Ensure work adheres to safety and quality standards, accurately record job transactions, and maintain efficient and compliant work practices
