Are you an Architectural Technician with Planning experience looking to join a well established yet growing Design firm, offering a varied office based role where you have the opportunity to quickly progress to senior roles as well as overtime to increase your earnings?

This company specialises in providing architectural design services as they work with a range of blue-chip companies and residential projects across the UK. Since their establishment in 1985, they have gone from strength to strength and are now looking to expand their Design team to keep up with ever increasing demand.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for working on a range of projects and work stages from scheme and planning to technical building regulation drawings using AutoCAD, as you work within a team of 5 Technician liaising directly with each other and senior leadership to ensure designs are correctly implemented to match the client’s requirements.

This role would suit an Architectural Technician from a Planning / Technical building regulations background with AutoCAD experience looking for a days-based role within a growing company where you will have the opportunity to make your mark and have the autonomy to directly impact design implementations.

The Role:

• Assist with Scheme and Planning as well as creating 2D Technical drawings using AutoCAD
• Monthly project site visits to ensure measurements are accurately taken
• Liaise with other departments and senior leadership to ensure designs meet customer requirements and are completed on time
• Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm

The Person:

• Architectural Technician or similar
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• From a Planning / Technical Building regulations background
• Commutable to Wellingborough – happy to conduct occasional site visits
