Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer from an automotive background looking to move into a more technically challenging and exciting role, with ongoing product training and a wide variety of work for an established, global company?

This role will be primarily office-based, as you will be liaising with internal sales, testing, and production departments, along with a wide portfolio of large customers. Your focus will be modifying and upgrading designs, adapting to change requests, and problem-solving solutions for a range of projects.

This design and manufacturing company were established over 50 years ago and distribute globally to the construction, agriculture, and materials handling sectors. They boast a turnover of more than £50 million and have plans to open a new site in the next few years.

This role would suit somebody with 3D CAD experience looking for an interesting, varied, and technically stimulating role for a global company that offer plenty of personal development opportunities.

The Role:

• Managing applications solutions for clients from cradle to grave
• Modifying and adapting designs on CATIA V5, with training given
• Liaising with test, production, and sales departments internally
• Office based with some remote working, site visits, and occasional international travel
• Monday to Thursday, 8am -5pm, finish at 12pm Friday
