On offer is the opportunity to join a well established company, which specialises in the qualification, validation and testing of medical devices. The group is globally renowned for the excellent services they provide, and have an ISO 18562 accredited test laboratory. They are currently looking to expand their team by 10 over the next year, meaning this is an exciting time to join the highly successful and multi-faceted company. Within this role, you will be responsible for conducting testing on medical devices and packaging, according to protocols agreed with clients. You will also carry out analytical method development, method validation and scientific investigation.
The role:
- Create test protocols, results analysis and risk analyses.
- Conform to site and lab health, safety and environment requirements
- Comply with the principles of GMP
- Sample, solution and reagents preparation following standard laboratory formulas and procedures
- Troubleshooting and Investigating the unexpected
- Chromatography – GCMS, HPLC
- Process and interpret analytical results
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical equipment
- Training within the department and mentoring junior staff
The person:
- Practical experience in a similar role
- Experience in extractables and leachables
