£25,000 – £30,000 DOE + training + development + potential for progression


Do you have bookkeeping / accounts experience, looking to join a stable, well established company which provides commercial and industrial services across a range of industries, where you will be joining a small but vibrant team, in a crucial and varied role which has the potential to develop as your expand your skills and experience?

Are you looking for a multi-faceted, versatile role where you will assist across different areas of the business, primarily looking after the accounts duties; assisting the Financial Controller, but also working across multiple departments to ensure efficient administration, where you will receive ongoing training and development whilst retaining excellent work / life balance?

The company offer a range of services, including commercial and industrial lettings, industrial equipment hire and metal recycling. It is a family owned business, which prides itself on it’s range of specialist services and excellent reputation. This is a company which will value your skills and knowledge, as you will pay a pivotal role across all areas of the business.

You will be responsible for completing a range of bookkeeping and accounts duties, working across multiple areas of the business and assisting the FC. You will also assist with various administrative duties across the business, including speaking with clients over the phone, and responding to enquiries. There will also be the long term potential to move into a managerial role in the property department.

The role:

  • Office based
  • Processing sales invoices
  • Sales ledger and purchase ledger
  • Maintain financial records
  • Assist the FC
  • Potentially assisting with payroll
  • Speaking with clients over the phone, face to face and via email
  • General administrative duties – assisting other departments
  • Potential for part time if this is a requirement, DOE (min 4 days per week)

The person:

  • Bookkeeping / Accounts experience
  • Happy in a blended role, primarily focusing on account with some admin and customer service duties
