Are you an experienced Formulation Manager with a background in cosmetics, personal care, or chemical manufacturing looking to take the lead in formulation, production efficiency, and compliance within a growing and creative company?

In this role, you will lead formulation development from concept to production scale-up, manage day-to-day factory operations, and oversee compliance with EU and US cosmetic, toy, and chemical regulations. You’ll collaborate closely with product development, production, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth launches and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

This role would suit a Technical Production Manager, Formulation Chemist, or Manufacturing Lead from a cosmetic, chemical, or FMCG background who is passionate about technical excellence, process optimisation, and bringing fun, safe products to market.

The Role:

• Lead formulation development for new and existing products
• Oversee day-to-day factory operations and production KPIs
• Ensure full compliance with EU & US regulations (Cosmetic, Toy, REACH, CLP)
• Troubleshoot formulation and manufacturing issues
• Liaise with suppliers, labs, and internal teams to drive efficiency and quality

The Person:

• Background in cosmetics, personal care, or chemical manufacturing
• Strong formulation, production, and compliance experience
• Degree or HNC in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or Chemical Engineering (preferred)
